POGO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations, EIN 52-1739443.
Contribution Acceptance Policy
POGO accepts gifts from individuals and institutions that are committed to the principles of democracy, racial justice, inclusion, and equity. We reserve the right to decline gifts and donations from individuals and institutions that advocate viewpoints or engage in activities that contradict these values. POGO does not knowingly accept contributions from for-profit corporations, labor unions, any government, or anyone who stands to benefit financially from our work, in order to preserve our independence. POGO reviews all contributions exceeding $2,000 in order to maintain this standard. POGO accepts employee- and customer-directed contributions and matching funds, and accepts contributions from law firms, which we limit to less than 1% of POGO’s operating budget.
